Symphony Wave Power is proud to have received β¬1.8 million in support from Jeroen Verwoort on behalf of #JTF IJmond. Through this support, JTF IJmond is helping SWP contribute to a more sustainable industrial future for the region. Earlier JTF funding enabled us to successfully complete the dry test phase of our wave energy demonstrator. This new support will enable the next crucial step: testing the system at sea under real conditions.
These sea trials are essential to bringing the technology closer to commercial readiness and laying the foundation for future serial production. The project therefore contributes not only to the development of renewable offshore energy, but also to new industrial activity, knowledge, capabilities and long-term economic development in the #IJmond region. This funding allows SWP to de-risk a critical stage of development and to gradually create the conditions for industry and supply chain partners to engage in future financing.
