We had an exciting workshop taking place at our test site. Representatives from ONE-Dyas and Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) visited Symphonyโs dry test facility being build-up in Velsen-Noord. We shared promising results of our joint Wave Energy study to investigate the possibilities of powering offshore operations with Symphony Wave Power. We expect to finalise the study next month and to share results among interested parties.
ONE-Dyas aims to be leading in reducing GHG-emissions in its operations, both at sea as well as in other operations, which includes electrification of its offshore operated facilities.
The feasibility explores how the power demand can be matched with local available wave power, how many units are needed, how the configuration will look like, what permits and licenses are needed, how the presence of the wave power units fit with the accessibility for ships, what it will cost and what emissions can be saved.
A big thank you to ONE-Dyas and EBN for their interest and support!

What started as engineering on paper is now in motion, literally! These dry-tests mark a major milestone on our roadmap toward offshore deployment in 2026.
